TiviMate is an advanced IPTV player that supports IPTV services which are based on either M3U or Xtream Code servers. With the username and password provided by your IPTV service provider, you can connect your Android device to their servers and easily stream live content, as well as and on demand (often called “catch up”) content that the service offers.

Unlike applications like ProgDVB, which allows you to watch public channels from around the world, or Kodi, which allows you to stream content from your own computer or server, TiviMate is geared towards programming from IPTV providers specifically, and you will need to be a subscriber to a compatible IPTV service to take advantage of it. TiviMate does not provide any TV sources of its own.

Some of these features include channel listings thanks to a built-in EPG (electronic program guide), search, recording, multi-view, and picture in picture. It is worth noting that the recording feature will require plenty of free storage space on your device. Some of these features, such as picture in picture, require a premium subscription, however the base functionality of the app is free. TiviMate is geared towards providing a pleasing user-experience for accessing premium IPTV content that you already have access to. For people who are not subscribed to an IPTV provider, this app would not be very useful.
